UNRWA: 85% of those displaced from northern West Bank camps have no regular income

More than 33,000 people were forced out of the Jenin, Nur Shams and Tulkarem camps in early 2025, UNRWA's largest West Bank displacement since 1967. Director Roland Friedrich says 85% of them have no regular income and over 80% now pay rent; the closed military zone over the camps is renewed every two months.
