A Gaza civil servant's pay drops to 1,500 shekels every 45–50 days

Abu Ibrahim, using a pseudonym for his safety, says his salary shrank and slowed and arrives in damaged notes that shops resist. He says 100 shekels once fed his family for a week and now does not cover a day's food. Shopkeepers often refuse change, so he leaves a 200-shekel note and spends it over several visits.
